What payment options do you accept?

Storybook Alpacas accepts payments via PayPal. You will be navigated to a Paypal payment site after you submit your order. PayPal does not require an account and accepts all major credit cards.

Payment can also be made via direct deposit into our account and you will be supplied this information via email if you select this option at the time of checkout.

 

Will I receive an email confirmation after I place my order?

Once your order has been processed and it is ready to be shipped from our company, you will receive an email containing a confirmation of shipping. Please note orders cannot be placed without an email address. It is important for your order tracking as well.

 

Can I change or cancel an order after it has been placed?

Changes and cancellations cannot be processed if the order has been processed and shipped.

 

What are your shipping and delivery policies?

Payment Policy
Storybook Alpacas accepts payments via PayPal. You will be directed to a Paypal payment site after you submit your order. PayPal does not require an account and accepts all major credit cards.

Payments can also be made by direct deposit and you will be supplied the account details via an email after placing your order if you elect to pay by this method..  Email instructions will include the account details and ask you to quote your  order number when you make the direct debit payment

All prices shown are inclusive of GST and regular Australia Post shipping charges and packaging. Australia Post regular parcel post is traceable.

Express Post is available and you should contact us BEFORE placing your order if you would like us to post Express Post as additional postage fees will apply.

No orders will be sent until payment has been received by Storybook Alpacas either via direct debit or via Paypal.  

Cash payments are accepted at country markets or at the farmgate.

Postage and Shipping Details
No orders will be sent until payment has been made.

All items will be suitably packaged at a minimal cost to prevent damage. We will endeavour to process your order within 24 hours of payment however this is not always possible, especially during peak periods such as Christmas.

Once you place your order you will receive an email confirming your order.

As your order is dispatched you will also receive an email confirming that your order has been shipped. It will note where applicable any parcel post traceable numbers for tracking.

All prices shown are inclusive of regular Australia Post shipping charges and packaging. Express Post is available and you should contact us BEFORE placing your order if you would like us to post Express Post as additional postage fees will apply. Australia Post regular parcel post is traceable.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international orders are welcome and costs of shipping will be provided in advance of placing the order.  International orders may take slightly longer to process and ship.

 

What if my products arrive damaged?

In the event of shipping damages to your items, please notify us within 24 hours.
The original shipping package will need to be saved and returned for any damage claims.

 

What if a package arrives late due to weather or unforeseen problems?

Storybook Alpacas is not liable for delays in delivery due to weather, or other unforeseen problems. If you need your items in a hurry you will need to select express postage options, which will be at Australia Post Express Rates – Prepaid Satchel rates.

Please choose the appropriate shipping method during check out and, if possible, allow extra time to help avoid these concerns.

 

What is your return policy?

Returns will only be accepted if an item is faulty or an error has been made in your order.   

Please note that we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear in this site. However, actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

Full refunds will be made if you make contact with us within 7 days and the product is returned to us in as sent condition. Postage return is at the purchaser's cost.

Handling fees of 20% apply for any refund between 8-29 days.

NO refunds after 30 days.

All product returns are at your (the purchaser) cost and must be returned to Storybook Alpacas in a timely manner.  The product must be in an as sold condition and cannot be returned if it has been used/worn.

Express postage rates on shipping are NON refundable in all circumstances.

 

Do you have a newsletter?

No we do not have a regular newsletter, however from time to time we have special offers.
